Privacy numbers on Caravan Selecta

What is a Privacy or YAC number?
A privacy number, or YAC number, is a free security option offered by Caravan Selecta to improve our service to you. It is a non-geographical telephone number applied to your online advert, keeping your personal contact details completely private.

How does it work?
On your online advert, your personal telephone number will be replaced by a non geographical number, which may start with either 0701, 07044, 07092 or 07052. When a potential buyer calls this number the call is automatically redirected to your private number, so your private number always remains confidential.

Why is this of use?
Keeping your personal telephone number confidential will reduce the amount of marketing and sales calls you may receive from outside companies who have found your number displayed on the internet.

Does it cost anything?
It is a free service we offer to you when you place an ad on Caravan Selecta. When the number is called it redirects to you with no charge at all. The caller will be charged a flat rate of 35p per minute.
